Industrial automation engineers can count on better customer service for motors, clutches and brakes from Lenze/AC Technology ( AC Tech ), since the company consolidated their operations in its Uxbridge, MA headquarters facility.

“Having all manufacturing, service and sales [concentrated in] one location will enhance our customers’ experience” says Gene Wood, General Manager and Director of Service at AC Technology Corporation. “We are always looking for improvements, whether it is innovative thinking that makes our products the leaders in performance, or in the logistics of providing our customers with unparalleled service and support.”

A member of the Lenze Group, AC Tech develops, manufactures, markets and supports a range of motion control solutions, including servo drives and motors, clutches and brakes, gears and gear motors and variable frequency AC motor drives. According to company officials, the automation supplier had been assembling, selling and supporting all geared motors, clutches and brakes out of a remote location in Emporia, KS. Customers were directed to Emporia for all mechanical concerns and to Uxbridge, MA for all electronic concerns.

Due to double-digit growth over the last 10 years, AC Tech recently moved from an 85,000 sq. ft. plant to a brand new facility that spans over 125,000 sq. ft. in Uxbridge today. “This latest strategic step will enhance our already superior customer service, which is truly the formula for our success,” states Wood.
