Adept Technologies, ABB join forces for new robot

Adept Technologies (San Jose, Calif.) and ABB Flexible Automation (New Berlin, Wis.) recently joined forces to develop a high-speed picker robot, the FlexPicker. ABB developed the innovative arms—three overhead arms in a delta configuration, with a fourth arm straight down, all joined at the tool.
