Cincinnati, OH— Advantech Corp. reports that its Industrial Automation Group has extended its robust IPPC series with its IPPC-9120G, which is a rugged 12.1-in., SVGA, TFT, LCD display computer. Constructed with a stainless steel chassis and a heavy-duty aluminum front panel, IPPC-9120G also has strengthened glass that protects the front panel from shock. The computer also is NEMA4/IP65 compliant for water and dust protection.

IPPC-9120G’s Socket 370 CPU structure supports an Intel Pentium III processor up to 1.26 GHz and an Intel Celeron processor up to 1.3 GHz. The LCD display provides vivid, sharp, large images with high luminance of 320 cd/m2.

Two PCI/ISA expansion slots provide expansion capability for special-function add-on boards, which also can be used for Advantech’s motion cards or I/O cards for digital, analog, or special communication requirements. The backdoor allows easy maintenance and comes with a lock for better security. IPPC-9120G also supports an optional PCMCIA wireless LAN adapter. Optional mounting accessories are available including swing arms, panels, racks or other industrial equipment.

IPPC-9120G is also available with a resistive touchscreen, which is named IPPC-9120G-R.
