Viking Xtreme heavy-duty industrial in-line valve series is designed for extreme operating conditions. Series features innovative spool technology for effective use in applications where pneumatic systems have to operate at extreme temperatures. Product offers an operating temperature range of -40 to 70 °C with maximum pressure of 16 bar. Aluminum spool has a specially engineered over-molded rubber to eliminate the problems of deals deforming or extruding under conditions of high pressure or flow. Construction is said to lessen unit complexity, increase flow rates, ensure stable seal performance in high flow/pressure drop situations, and provide robust performance in a wide range of operating temperatures. Series comes in three versions—solenoid operated, remote air pilot, and manually actuated—with a choice of 1/8-, 1/4-, 3/8-, and 1/2-in. port sizes. It is suited for a variety of mobile applications such as truck/trailer and non-mobile uses including pulp and paper processing, wood cutting, and mining. www.parker.com Parker Hannifin
