Carlo Gavazzi’s Single Phase RGx1P Proportional Output Controllers are designed for applications such as proportional control of resistive heating elements and speed of ac motors in HVAC applications. They can also be used to control short wave infrared heaters in semiconductor equipment. The RG Series devices are equipped with user selectable switching modes to address different application requirements. Apart from three full cycle switching modes for basic heating applications, the RG Series also features full cycle control for short wave infrared heaters, phase angle switching mode for resistive heaters, light dimming and speed control of ac fans and soft starting for heating elements with low cold state resistance. Other features include an output voltage rating of up to 660Vac as well as options for 4 to 20mA, 0 to 10Vcd, 0 to 5Vdc, and 1 to 5Vdc or potentiometer inputs.
