Fremont, Calif. Arista Corporation , a supplier of customized industrial personal computers and telephony systems for the OEM market, announces the Power Racer 700 Series of CT servers. Customized to the needs of each customer, they are built using the proven technologies, manufacturing, and quality control systems and features usually reserved for industrial-grade computers.

Available in a standard 14-slot passive backplane architecture with a variety of available ISA/PCI backplanes or optional low cost motherboard, these systems are designed to meet the performance and reliability requirements for today’s high-end server applications in the networking, telecommunications, and computer telephony industries.

Fault-resilient options include redundant and load sharing hot-swappable power supplies, HDDs with SCSI or IDE RAID controller. This makes the Power Racer 700 Series extremely versatile and cost-effective as a computer telephony, Internet or e-mail server, as well as in networking applications.

The Power Racer 700 Series features a space saving, 4U heavy-duty 19′ rackmount chassis that meets the EIA RS-310C standard. Comes with a standard 400W AC high-output power supply to handle the most intense power distribution needs. Optional ac or dc redundant, load sharing, hot swappable power supplies provide maximum reliability for a mid-range server platform. Two filtered 95 CFM ball bearing fans deliver plentiful airflow and flow-through ventilation for system reliability. A lockable front door prevents unauthorized access to the power, reset switch and disk drives. Automatic fault detection and alarm notification minimize power and fan failures. The 700 Series is CE compliant and maintains operation in environments from 32 – 122°F (0-50°C) with 20%-90% relative humidity.
