Control Engineering Leader Under 40, class of 2010 logoStart in controls: While all my friends were interested in micro-design (embedded software, product development), I had an inclination towards the automation field where you could actually see how the plant runs based on the software you have actually designed. That's something you can't get to see in other sectors. Also, having gone through process and chemical engineering concepts during academics gave me the added advantage of optimizing the design ahead of the commissioning cycle.
