Automation software: Integrity 2.0 puts real-time data flow in one Web view

Integrity 2.0, the latest version of PAS ’ automation configuration management package, provides one Web view to all users. The availability of real-time data flow and automation assets across the plant is especially well-suited to meet the needs of operations, maintenance, and safety personnel at process manufacturing facilities.

Integrity logs all changes to the real-time infrastructure so that all authorized users can view the actual system and application interdependencies that are normally available only to control system administrators. Version 2.0 continues a successful legacy of documenting control system configurations and interconnectivities within plants. From its beginning as DOC3000, a documentation solution developed specifically for Honeywell’s TPS systems, Integrity has grown to encompass virtually every major control system, instrument databases, distributed control systems, PLCs, historians, and multivariable controllers, said PAS. The scalable software can be deployed as an enterprise solution, serving multiple plants worldwide, or as a local solution for a specific automation asset or application.

“PAS tools, especially Integrity, offer a great way to take a snapshot of the plant automation systems,” said Jack Roachell, a process control engineer at Chevron. “Using Integrity, our plants have a tool to understand the existing real-time system configuration. Integrity provides the ability to document the linkages between systems in a centralized repository, while shortening the learning curve for Chevron’s new hires.”

According to Eddie Habibi, PAS founder and CEO, Integrity helps improve reliability by exposing a plant’s real-time data infrastructure and configuration details to the various teams within the plant, not just the control engineer. “The ability to view data flow and configuration information across multiple systems in a plant or enterprise in a single Web view promises to revolutionize the way plant personnel work together and manage change within the control networks at the plant for greater plant reliability and staff efficiencies.”
