Automation supplier launches series of dedicated sites

Mitsubishi Electric Automation launches websites serving machine tool, automotive, packaging, and robotics industries.

Mitsubishi Electric Automation created its fourth industry-specific website, a micro-site for the machine tool industry, www.MitsubishiMachineTool.com. This is the latest Mitsubishi Electric Automation website dedicated to specific industries and applications; others include automotive, robotics, and packaging industries at www.MitsubishiAutomotiveSolutions.com, www.MitsubishiRobotics.com, and www.MitsubishiPackaging.com.

Machine tool automation

The machine tool site has automation solutions for applications including aerospace, automotive, medical, off-highway equipment, and general manufacturing.

“The challenges many machine builders face can usually be solved by our front-to-back automation solutions,” said Joe Bruen, business development manager, Mitsubishi Electric Automation. Bruen called the company a single-source supplier for standard and custom-designed products.

OEMs, system integrators, and end users can learn about Mitsubishi Electric Automation’s drilling, tapping, grinding, milling, turning, and retrofit solutions at the site. Also available are downloadable product catalogs and bulletins, and news about machine tool-industry events.

For the automotive industry, www.MitsubishiAutomotiveSolutions.com displays the Mitsubishi Electric products and technologies that can help automotive manufacturing plants be more efficient, productive, and safe.

Mitsubishi Electric Automation has created a new website, www.MitsubishiRobotics.com, for its full line of robots and their applications. The website provides information about robotic solutions for customers in diverse industries engaged in a variety of processes, and provides examples of customer challenges successfully solved by Mitsubishi Electric robots. Visitors will also find product news, videos, press releases, and industry events that showcase Mitsubishi Electric robots.

“Our customers are constantly faced with manufacturing challenges and we have a broad portfolio of compact, powerful robots that can help them,” said Aravind Durai, product manager for Mitsubishi Electric Robots. The site includes capabilities, experience across industries, and customer success stories related to robotics.

The website will also feature case studies and industry articles that discuss key automation issues, industry innovations, and technologies that improve productivity and operations.

For the packaging machine community, www.MitsubishiPackaging.com identifies common packaging challenges and how automation is designed to overcome them.

The website also features a blog to provide insights into today’s packaging challenges, and for packaging professionals to share their comments. The website is tablet-friendly so readers can access the content from mobile platforms. It was the first in a series of industry-tailored micro-sites launched this year.
