Berkeley adds OPC, ActiveX to motion, machine automation products
Richmond, CA—Berkeley Process Control Inc. announced Nov. 21 that it's adding OLE for Process Control (OPC) server and ActiveX controls capabilities to its BX and BAM motion-and-machine controller products.

Berkeley reports that adding OPC to its automation control products provides users with easy access to machine and process data for interface with commercial HMI products, SQL databases, web servers, and wireless communications products. Berkeley also offers ActiveX controls, allowing users further GUI flexibility by providing access to important control functions through any ActiveX container.
