The 28th edition of BIAS, the International Automation, Instrumentation, and Microelectronics Conference and Exhibition, will be held Nov. 24-28 in the new Portello Pavilions. BIAS will be the largest trade fair in the control and instrumentation field in Europe this year.

The last BIAS exhibition in 1996, which was its 40th anniversary, welcomed 58,912 visitors and 2,560 exhibitors. This year's edition of BIAS will be held in a new venue near the old site: the recently completed Portello Pavilions, adjacent to the Fiera Milano . The fairgrounds are about two kilometers northwest of the central historic district of Milan, where visitors can see the famous Duomo cathedral, Castello Sforzesco, La Scala Opera House, and Da Vinci's painting The Last Supper .
