The Bimac Corporation produces specialty castings for a range of applications, including the military, and automotive and aerospace industries. Bimac has demanding quality requirements for its castings. These requirements are driven by three factors: Bimac’s own internal goals and culture; the needs of their military, automotive, and aerospace customers; and federal standards. To meet these requirements by ensuring the proper composition of their alloys, they use a Measurement Computing Corp. data acquisition board and software in the quality control testing phase.
