Its small frame (3.75-in. diameter) and higher speed capability represent an advantage over typical ac motors of the same size. Available with one or two hp capability, this three-phase motor is rated for 160- or 320 V operation with continuous torque ratings of 140-oz.-in. at 7,200 rpm and 300-oz.-in. at 6,700 rpm respectively. A totally-enclosed integral cooling fan and finned housing ensures protection from overheating. Other features include a neodymium rotor magnet and Hall-effect switches for commutation.
