Portescap's Athlonix 22DCP high power density brush DC motors are designed for applications such as medical and industrial pumps and features a coreless design with a self-supporting coil and magnetic circuit for increased power density. Courtesy: PortescPortescap's Athlonix 22DCP high power density brush dc motors are designed for applications such as medical and industrial pumps, gas analyzers, and access and power tools. The 22DCP has a 22mm diameter and features a coreless design with a self-supporting coil and magnetic circuit for increased power density. The 22DCP motors are available in 2 variations: precious metal commutation and graphite commutation. The unique constant force spring design for carbon brush for consistent performance. A restriction of electro erosion (REE) coil is an available option and it has continuous torque up to 6.5 mNm and the motors are compatible with other encoders and gearheads of various sizes and ratios.
