Portescap’s 16ECH brushless motor is designed specifically for high performance applications and is specifically optimized for high continuous torque at low to medium speeds, maximizing power between 40 K and 55 K rpm, and rated speed at 60 K rpm. The 16ECH is constructed with an enhanced magnetic circuit designed to reduce both iron and recirculation losses, the primary causes for motor stator heating. The EC motor coil also achieves higher available torque and mechanical power, which allows the 16ECH to stay cooler during operations. The 16ECH is also useful for low speed, high torque end applications, or applications in the medium speed range (30 K to 55 K rpm). The 16ECH is also useful for geared applications because of its minimal speed drop and low motor heating under load. The 16ECH is available in 36 and 52 mm length versions, with hall sensors and 3 different coils to match speed and voltage requirements.
