The family of SIMATIC MP 377 Multi Panels is suitable for most HMI applications. The HMI offers more that 64,000 colors, and is available in 12-inch TFT-displays, and 15- and 19-inch touch screen models to handle complex visualization tasks. Ideally suited for the WinAC MP 2007 operating platform, the HMI includes 2 MB of user memory as well as an additional 12 MB of
memory for larger projects. It is easily configured with WinCC flexible 2007 Standard with options including Sm@rtService, Sm@rtAccess , OPC-Server and Audit.
The Multi Panels' Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 T standard package includes Microsoft Media Player, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 for Pocket and PCMicrosoft Viewer (Word, Excel and PDF). The HMI includes a non-volatile alarm buffer without battery, additional retentive memory for software PLC data, and RS 485/ RS 422-interfaces for process connection (MPI, PROFIBUS DP up to12 Mbit/s). Additionally, the Multi Panels include a combined SD/multi media card slot, 1 x CF card slot, 2 x USB interfaces, and 2 x Ethernet RJ45 interfaces.

Case Study Database

Get more exposure for your case study by uploading it to the Control Engineering case study database, where end-users can identify relevant solutions and explore what the experts are doing to effectively implement a variety of technology and productivity related projects.

These case studies provide examples of how knowledgeable solution providers have used technology, processes and people to create effective and successful implementations in real-world situations. Case studies can be completed by filling out a simple online form where you can outline the project title, abstract, and full story in 1500 words or less; upload photos, videos and a logo.
