Process Control

Type 388 metallic butterfly valve comes in two styles: cast-iron wafer and ductile-iron lug. Both configurations can withstand rugged industrial use. Typical applications include water and wastewater for pressure or vacuum service. Valve incorporates features that offer easy maintenance, high performance, and safety. Long-neck body provides 2 in. for adding insulation with ANSI 150 pipe flanges. Two-piece stem allows removal of one piece instead of the complete valve for easier service and reassembly. Other features include corrosion-resistant wetted materials, a streamlined disk for maximum flow with minimum seat wear, and a lip design to prevent the liner from moving downstream, eliminating seat and flange leaks. www.us.piping.georgefischer.com George Fischer Inc.
