CS3969DCL camera uses a 1.5 megapixel, 2/3-type progressive scan CCD, said to provide sharper, more detailed pictures of moving objects than conventional machine-vision cameras. CCD pixels are arrayed in square grids to facilitate computation for faster image processing with-out distortion. All-pixel readout ensures higher vertical and horizontal resolutions of high-speed shuttered images. Designed for general machine visions, OCR/DCR, aerospace, scientific, and inspection machinery applications, camera comes with standard link interface to transfer images to a PC at high speed and to allow an operator to perform camera controls using a PC. Camera link output interfaces with a number of frame grabbers. www.Toshiba-teli.co.jp Toshiba Teli Corp.
