New 128 x 64 pixel chip-on-glass (COG) LCD line includes three sizes: 50 x 25 mm, 70 x 40 mm, and 60.6 x 33.1 mm, including view areas. Also available are five modules that incorporate a white LED backlight. Backlight voltage ranges from 2.3 to 3.5 V with typical current of 20-80 mA. Products are particularly suited for mobile applications. Line also includes modules with RGB backlights that let a user switch between red, green, or blue backlights and combinations of the three to create up to seven backlight colors. COG display prices start at $5.50 in 1,000 quantity; white LED backlight prices start at $7.75.
