Co-CEO and chairman appointed at Quickfilter Technologies

Allen, TX—Quickfilter Technologies Inc., a semiconductor company that develops mixed-signal ICs for programmable analog-to-digital processing, appointed Dr. Ed Staiano as its co-CEO and chairman of the board, effective August 1.


Allen, TX Quickfilter Technologies Inc. , a semiconductor company that develops mixed-signal ICs for programmable analog-to-digital processing, appointed Dr. Ed Staiano as its co-CEO and chairman of the board, effective August 1. Previously, Staiano was a member of the company’s board of directors and the chairman and CEO of the Sorrento Investment Group LLC. He is also a member of the board of trustees of Bucknell University, chairman of Apriva LLC, and chairman of the business development committee for Acoustic Technologies.

“We are pleased to have Dr. Staiano share in leading the Quickfilter team,” said Bob Silco, Quickfilter Technologies founder and co-CEO. “His experience in building, growing and managing technology companies will be a catalyst for growth and success at Quickfilter Technologies. Dr. Staiano understands the complexities of running a fast-growing company and knows how to execute quickly as the team moves its first products into volume production and develops new product lines.”

In his new role as co-CEO, Staiano will oversee sales and marketing activities. Bob Silco will be responsible for managing all other CEO activities.
