Ann Arbor, Mich.— WebLink CE combines a Media GX processor, 12.1 in. flat-panel display, touchscreen, flash disk, and Microsoft Windows CE operating system. WebLink CE addresses the common problem of hard drive unreliability by using the CE operating system accompanied by a flash disk. Because the Windows CE operating system is so small, no hard drive is needed. All programs are stored on the flash disk, which has no moving parts that can fail. Other features include a 10Base-T Ethernet port for corporate networks and a 10Base-T Ethernet port with a built-in three-port passive hub for I/O networks. The casing is rated NEMA 4.
