Control Engineering Russia begins publication

Oak Brook, IL—Control Engineering has further extended its reach by launching Control Engineering Russia in May 2005 with the first of six issues to an expected 10,000 subscribers.

Oak Brook, IL—Control Engineering further extended its reach by launching Control Engineering Russia in May 2005 with the first of six issues to an expected 10,000 subscribers. The launch includes an accompanying Web site at https://www.controlengrussia.com .

Control Engineering ‘s launch into the Russian market is a significant event, and we’re looking forward to great success there,” says Michael Majchrzak, Control Engineering Russia ’s publisher.

Michelle Palmer, Control Engineering ’s publisher, adds that, “We welcome the opportunity to extend our expertise to Russia. This is our fifth edition and the fourth language in which Control Engineering is offered globally.”

Covering automation, instrumentation, and controls for more than 50 years, Control Engineering also has a pan-European edition in English, Control Engineering Europe , and native-language editions in Chinese and Polish. Each augments the expertise of the North American edition with editorial staff in the region of the world each serves.

Control Engineering editorial director, David Greenfield, adds that, “Each edition draws on a core of the most appropriate editorial features from Control Engineering and adds news, products, departments, and other features deemed most appropriate for local subscribers.”

Recently expanded, Control Engineering China is publishing 10 issues to 15,000 subscribers in 2005.

Control Engineering Poland also grew to 10 issues and 5,000 subscribers in 2005.

Control Engineering Europe reaches 25,000 readers with six issues per year year. A U.K.-only edition also is available.

Meanwhile, Control Engineering ‘s original edition has more than 88,000 subscribers to its 12 annual issues (according to BPA’s June 2004 report); e-mails a dozen newsletters monthly; and publishes online as well.
