After more than 32 years in industry, including 25 years with Plant Engineering and 6 years with Control Engineering magazines, Jeanine Katzel, Control Engineering senior editor retired May 11 from Reed Business Information.

I also remember goingthrough the Ansul Fire Training School when I was covering fire protection and going through all the training activities with the rest of the guys. They were wonderful and helpful. At one point we were putting out controlled pressure fires and the instructor came over and said we needed to be careful because the force of the water line would likely lift someone my size right off the ground. Two of my classmates stood with me as we held the hose, and it would indeed have carried me away if not for their help.”
