V-Infinity dc-dc converters isolate to 6 kV.

V-Infinity 1W and 2W dc-dc converters from CUI Inc . provide an isolation voltage of 6,000 V dc. The RoHS compliant units offer fixed input ranges of 5 and 12 V, +/-10% in a SIP (system in package) style offering. These unregulated, convection-cooled units are ideal for applications requiring a high isolation voltage, including medical products, mixed analog/digital circuits, and test and measurement equipment. With efficiencies as high as 78%, these units can operate at temperatures ranging from -40 to 85 °C without need for derating or heat sinking. The VHS1 and VHS2 series deliver single output voltages of 5, 9, 12, and 15 V while the VGDS1 and VGDS2 series deliver output voltages of +/-5, +/-9, +/-12, and +/-15V. OEM pricing starts as low as $3.75 per unit.
