Indianapolis, IN - Horner APG announced January 29, 2003 enhancements to its Operator Control Station (OCS), SmartStix I/O system, and Cscape software.

Using Cscape software, users can enhance OCS color-touchscreens using company logos and industry specific symbols from an extensive standard library. Optionally, over 4,000 color, scalable graphic symbols are optionally available.

Available OCS units include OCS451, OCS551 and OCS651. Each unit features 800 x 600 pixel resolution and 32,000+ colors. Control programs can be shared across any OCS model.

Enhancements to the SmartStix I/O system includes a DIN-rail mounted, remote I/O system that expands the application and affordability of OCS. Cscape 6.0b supports the new I/O system using a simple, easy-to-use interface.
