The Control and Information System Integrators Association (CSIA) reported at its recent annual conference in Memphis, TN, that members’ net sales saw a double-digit increase from 2003 to 2004 and that nine system integrators were recognized for achieving Registered Member status in the previous year. This brings CSIA’s total number of Registered Members to 69 system integrators. The newly registered CSIA members are:

All of the newly Registered Members passed a rigorous audit of their business and management practices and must be re-audited every three years to maintain their status. Registration is required of all CSIA members within three years of joining the organization.

Sales increasing
CSIA also announced that, after 2001’s economic downturn, its average member maintained steady net sales per employee between 2002 and 2003. However, the organization adds that net sales for its members subsequently increased 12% between 2003 and 2004.

"As the manufacturing sector has become stronger, many CSIA members have been able to take advantage of this to grow their own companies, and regain revenue lost during the economic decline," says Bill Pollock, chairman of CSIA's statistics committee. "Others have found opportunities in newly emerging technologies, and been able to take advantage of these to grow their firms."
