Applimotion provides brushless direct drive motor kits for complex motion assemblies in automation, semiconductor equipment, medical devices, and satellite communication systems. The kits add value by supplying complete assemblies (see photo example) with Applimotion motor kits.

Applimotion’s ULT, UTH, and UTS motor kits can be integrated into a customized assembly with high-resolution encoders and precision bearings. This allows the customer to control the function and operation of the assembly without having to make it in house. It is routine for Applimotion to turn-key the design from a specification or to contract manufacture the kit to the customer’s documentation. Custom assemblies can range from 8 mm diameter to 600 mm diameter and torque from 0.1 to 1000 NM with unique through-holes, mechanical features, and custom cabling.

Applimotion Inc., located in Loomis, Calif., cites that its goal is to make unique brushless components and electromechanical assemblies affordable. Engineers provide expertise in motor design and motion engineering to create application-specific motors for OEM customers and offer system integration services to create unique electromechanical systems. The company handles low-volume, performance-driven applications at its California facility, and high-volume, value-driven manufactured motors off shore.
