Cygnal, CMX introduce embedded Ethernet reference design

Austin, TX; Jacksonville, FL—CMX Systems and Cygnal Integrated Products launched Dec. 3 an Embedded Ethernet Reference Design, which features the CMX-MicroNet TCP/IP stack and Cygnal's C8051F124DK Development Kit.


Austin, TX; Jacksonville, FL— CMX Systems Cygnal Integrated Products ed to provide internetworking connectivity tools to designers working with eight-bit processors.

CMX designs real-time operating systems and TCP/IP software. Cygnal manufactures advanced mixed-signal microcontrollers.

Cygnal's C8051F12X series combines a 50-MIPS processor, 128-K Flash memory, 8-K RAM, and 12-bit analog in an eight-bit microcontroller. With the addition of TCP/IP support, these devices provide a web server platform for many industrial and commercial applications.

The combination of the CMX-MicroNet stack and the C8051F124 will enable systems designers to deploy robust network-enabled products very rapidly."
