Danaher Controls, OMAC, SEW-Eurodrive at Pack Expo

Danaher Controls (Gurnee, IL) exhibited its Dynapar Acuro single- and multi-turn encoders at Pack Expo on Nov. 3-7. The encoders include Acuro Industry, which provides up to 17-bit resolution in a single-turn configuration, and Acuro Drive, which delivers up to 22-bit resolution as a motor feedback device.

Chicago, IL – Danaher Controls (Gurnee, IL) exhibited its Dynapar Acuro single- and multi-turn encoders at Pack Expo on Nov. 3-7. The encoders include Acuro Industry, which provides up to 17-bit resolution in a single-turn configuration, and Acuro Drive, which delivers up to 22-bit resolution as a motor feedback device. Pharmacia Corp. (Peapack, NJ) announced its implementation of the first machine equipped with OMAC Packaging Workgroup ‘s PackML universal packaging state model; the Generation 3 servo-driven tube filler from Norden Pac Machinery implements the new state model on its EasyWare machine controller. SEW-Eurodrive (Lyman, SC; Bruchsal, Germany) reported that it’s boosting the movement toward distributed control with its Decentralized Control Technology (DCT), which it recently configured for North American applications and made available here.
