Emerson Network Power's Liebert DSE room-based data center cooling system now includes a 80, 85, and 150 kW units along with the 125 kW unit. Courtesy: Emerson Network PowerEmerson Network Power announced three new models of the Liebert DSE room-based data center cooling system. The 80, 85, and 150 kW units will join the 125 kW unit. The Liebert DSE features EconoPhase pumped refrigerant economizer that delivers free-cooling without water consumption costs or air contamination concerns. The Liebert DSE with EconoPhase beats the utility cost of traditional air-cooled direct expansion systems by 45% and typical chilled water systems with air economizer systems by 15%, without introducing outside air into the controlled environment. The Liebert DSE also features tandem Copeland Scroll Digital compressors to optimize part-load efficiency, electronic expansion valves to support lower condensing temperatures, and variable speed electrically commutated plug fans that automatically adjust unit airflow to demand. The integrated Liebert iCOM system adds intelligent control capabilities that allow the system to adjust airflow patterns and adapt to changing IT loads.
