David Bishop, Matrix Technologies, joins Control Engineering editorial advisory board

David Bishop, president and a founder of Matrix Technologies, joined the Control Engineering editorial advisory board in July.

David Bishop, president and a founder of Matrix Technologies, was named a Control Engineering editorial advisory board member, in a two- to three-year term, starting July 2016. Courtesy: CFE MediaControl Engineering announces that it has re-established an editorial advisory board to provide input to editorial staff on editorial content, relevancy, automation market, and audience; to serve as a first-level sounding board for new initiatives and ideas; and to participate in events and contribute editorially. Among those named on July 8, David Bishop, president of Matrix Technologies Inc., holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Toledo.

Bishop was recognized as UT Distinguished alumni in 2003. Bishop, a member of an executive coaching and peer advisory group called Vistage, also is a private pilot, avid golfer, and loves sailing and hunting. Bishop is one of the founders of Matrix Technologies, established in 1980.

Matrix employs over 300 employees and has annual sales in excess of $50 million. The corporate headquarters is in Maumee, Ohio, with regional offices in Indianapolis, Denver, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, and Cleveland.
