MicroPower Direct's MB5000RU dc/dc converter series features ten models that delivers 50W of isolated, tightly regulated output and are protected for output short circuit faults and extreme temperature conditions.
MicroPower Direct's MB5000RU dc/dc converter series delivers 50 W of isolated, tightly regulated output power in a compact 1 x 2 x 0.4 in. case. They are designed for applications requiring very wide inputs.
Ten standard models operate from wide 24 V dc or 48 V dc 4:1 inputs, providing tightly regulated single outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, or 24 V dc. Standard features include line/load regulation less than 0.5%, input/output isolation of 1,500 V dc, a remote control input and efficiency as high as 92%. All models are protected for output short circuit faults, extreme temperature conditions, and output over current faults.
Operation is specified for the ambient temperature range of -40°C to +61°C (adding the heat sink option extends the temperature range to +69°C). The MB5000RU series is an ideal solution for a wide variety of board level power applications requiring high power density, robust performance and low component cost.
