DeltaV utility: New automated batch reporting software

If you use DeltaV historians, there is a new set of off-the-shelf batch analysis reports designed by Novaspect Inc., for Incuity Software Inc . Incuity EMI is a business intelligence package for manufacturers that integrates plant floor production data and enterprise business information from disparate sources. This includes DeltaV's continuous and batch historians, allowing users to analyze information in Microsoft Excel.

Novaspect has developed a set of tools reportedly able to import DeltaV models and configuration information into Incuity's unified production model with a set of pre-configured batch analysis reports that automate configuration and viewing of data generated in any batch run. The pre-configured applications running in the Incuity framework provide important benefits for DeltaV users.

Incuity says its EMI package solves critical problems users face as they work to extract and analyze data from various manufacturing and ERP systems. More than a typical data historian, EMI helps create a complete and coherent picture of a manufacturing business by allowing access to process and enterprise data using familiar programs like Excel or other browser interfaces.
