Machining Point Control servo system enhancement detects and controls machine vibration at the machining point. Acceleration rate sensor simultaneously detects acceleration rate at the machine in three axes. Output is transferred by the CNC servo loop through standard separate detector interface unit. Servo system software then uses the detected acceleration rate to control the motor’s motion to reduce vibration, stabilizing the machine at the tool tip and enabling precision machining and quick positioning. Machine Tip Control add-on can be used in addition to the servo and separate feedback systems. Unit is connected to the machine through the existing servo system; setup and tuning is accomplished with Fanuc Servo Guide software.
