Development tools: Platform helps teams ‘know their code’

Solidware Technologies introduced a new release of its flagship product: SWaudit 2.0, a software project auditing platform that helps teams and management to “know their code.” The software interfaces to development and test tools to collect data from across projects in development and deploys its patent-pending Adaptive Analysis technology to identify failure-prone code.

Solidware Technologies ploys its patent-pending Adaptive Analysis technology to identify failure-prone code. Results provide high-level summaries for management and architects pinpointing systemic issues, as well as actionable, deep-dive specifics for developers and white box testers.
The new release introduces dependency mapping, advanced architectural integrity analysis, and enhanced analytics, including configurable static analysis and risk-to-test coverage correlation. It can be used standalone or integrated into existing continuous integration environments. The company says that the system instills confidence by providing project transparency, helping to focus development and test resources on risky areas of the code, and improving quality and schedule predictability. Currently, SWaudit 2.0 is available for Java. Future releases will include support for other programming languages.
