Milwaukee, Wis.— KwikLink flat trunk line cable and insulation displacement connectors are said to reduce material and engineering costs up to 50% while easing installation. The new four wire unshielded flat trunk line cable is more flexible than its round counterpart. A tighter bend radius allows the flat cable to fit into applications where space prohibits use of round cable. KwikLink cable supports 64 nodes with trunk length restrictions, is UL listed for outdoor use, and operates in temperatures from -25 to 75°C. KwikLink connector designed for the flat cable eliminates the need to cut and strip the cable before connection.
