Drive module with SensorlesServo technology

San Jose, Calif.— IndexBlok Drive Module is said to run virtually any three-phase motor 1-20 kW without a sensor. SensorlesServo technology brings a new cost proposition to applications requiring both simple and complex indexing with up to 16-bit resolution per electrical cycle of the motor. IndexBlok interfaces with PLCs and PC machine controllers.

San Jose, Calif.— IndexBlok Drive Module is said to run virtually any three-phase motor 1-20 kW without a sensor. SensorlesServo technology brings a new cost proposition to applications requiring both simple and complex indexing with up to 16-bit resolution per electrical cycle of the motor. IndexBlok interfaces with PLCs and PC machine controllers. It can be used to replace clutch brakes, mechanical indexers, stepper motor systems, and servo systems where repeatability of five arc minutes is sufficient. Torque vs. speed performance is equivalent to a traditional servo system with similar motor and a resolver or encoder, within the specified 100:1 range.
