It is said to fulfill the requirement of future-focused embedded applications that demand exceptionally high performance levels. Core Duo processors allow for up to 80% performance increase over single-core technology. Features include 5x PCI Express x1 lanes and 1x Gigabit Ethernet plus legacy support for PCI plus LPC, 8x USB 2.0, 2x Serial ATA, and 1x Parallel ATA interfaces.
