Milwaukee, Wis. - Dynapro released test results Oct. 22 showing its resistive touch-screens last a reportedly unprecedented 100 million touches. The company says these results prove its screens are the most durable resistive screens on the market.

A tabulator counts the number of simulated finger touches the screen can endure before it wears out in Dynapro's Finger Actuation Touch Screen Test. The test methodology and results are available at www.dynapro.com .

The firm states its touch-screens are so durable because it produces its own transparent films and also credits its 'in-depth knowledge of the science behind the touch.' 'Reaching the 100 million mark was the culmination of years of research aimed at improving optical transmission without compromising touch-screen performance,' says Dr. Brian Aufderheide, Dynapro's senior scientist. 'The combination of the touchsreeen and our new SC4 controller give us significant advances in reliability.'

Dynapro adds SC4 has a unique hardware design and advanced algorithms for smooth drop and drag, clearer signals, and better performance.
