WAGO offers a wide variety of shielding products to assist in eliminating unwanted electrical noise such as EMI (electromagnetic interference) and RFI (radio-frequency interference) that are often generated from drives, switch-mode power supplies, lighting or static electricity in industrial controls applications. The new 790 Series Shield Clamp with Latching Spring offers a patented latching mechanism making it the most convenient to use. Ergonomically designed to ensure enhanced usability, the large recessed grips lock the spring open for easy installation while positioned over the conductor and the busbar, and just as easily released on the conductor shield. The spring provides excellent shield contact and performance—automatically compensating for any settling of strands or vibration in the application.

For added safety and convenience it offers two marking locations to accommodate the WMB marker and multi-line continuous marking strip.

The 790 Series is available in three variants for shield diameters ranging from 3 to 20 mm. Industry proven accessories such as a specialty slotted carrier-rail and U-shaped busbar are also available for the new Shield Clamp with Latching Spring.
