Baldor Dirty Duty NEMA 4X Drives - Baldor Dirty Duty Drives are robust and operate in dirty, damp, wet environments. This is a Control Engineering 2011 Engineers' Choice (EC) nominee.Designed for tough applications, Baldor's Dirty Duty NEMA 4X/12 Drives can handle the worst environments. To handle your Washdown and Dust Tight applications, Baldor has now released the Dirty Duty VS1SP and VS1GV NEMA 4X/12 drives up to 25 hp at 460 V ac (20 hp at 230 V ac). By utilizing the same powerful control as our VS1SP Sensorless Vector and VS1GV Closed Loop Vector Drives, the new NEMA 4X/12 drives can handle nearly any application.

The Baldor Dirty Duty drives are available in two control types:  the VS1SP (for open loop applications) and the VS1GV(for closed loop applications). The VS1SP is a sensorless vector product that controls motor speed and torque with the precision and the responsiveness needed to accomplish most applications where open loop vector control is desirable. Additionally, it provides the same interface as the Baldor VS Drives closed loop vector products so that commonality is maintained within your facility for both drives. The VS1GV is a high performance closed loop vector drive that controls motor speed and torque with the precision and the responsiveness needed to accomplish the most demanding applications where closed loop control is needed.
