EDR-G903 Industrial Firewall Router - Moxa's EDR-G903 is an Industrial High Performance Secure Firewall Router. This is a Control Engineering 2011 Engineers' Choice (EC) nominee.Security in the industrial space is more important today than ever before.  Because of the pervasive use of Ethernet it is now important to implement firewalls and routers to secure and segment your network.  Commercial based firewall / routers are not robust enough for the industrial environment and many commercial routers are VERY complex to configure.

Moxa's EDR-G903 is the first industrial High performance firewall / router with Industrial oriented features.  It is also the easiest to configure. Overall features of the EDR-G903 Firewall/VPN/Router device include:   High performance Gigabit copper and fiber combo port;  Supports 1 WAN, 1 LAN, and 1 user-configurable WAN or DMZ interface; Redundant automatic WAN backup for critical industrial applications; Firewall with Quick Automation Profile for common Fieldbus protocols; Network Address Translation (N-to-1, 1-to-1, and port forwarding); Intelligent PolicyCheck and SettingCheck tools; -40 to 75 °C operating temperature (T models); and VPN (IP SEC and Tunnel mode).
