ProSoft Technology 9463 Blue Hose Industrial Media ConverterThe Ethernet-to-Belden 9463 Blue Hose Industrial Media Converter uses patented technology to help companies upgrade their legacy Allen-Bradley remote I/O systems with minimal downtime. You no longer have to run a new Ethernet infrastructure which can include installing fiber optic cables. After the media converters are installed, companies are able to run remote I/O and EtherNet/IP data at the same time on existing Blue Hose cable, which allows them to upgrade individual nodes during scheduled downtime. The units are plug-and-play with no configuration needed. They support Ethernet data rates up to 30 Mbps and support a maximum distance of up to 2,000 ft. Repeaters are available to support distances up to 10,000 ft.
