Hardware — Integrated HMI Controllers: The next generation EZTouch EZ3 Series HMI or operator interface is an innovative and universal graphical touch screen used for operator PLC or machine control in all indoor or outdoor applications. This is a ControlFrom the creators and original U.S. manufacturer of EZTouch, the next generation HMI has arrived: the EZTouch EZ3 Series. With universal compatibility to all PLCs both old and new, remote access and control from anywhere in the world, and SCADA-like features, the EZ3 Series fits in all HMI applications.

Available in 6-, 8- and 10-in. models, the EZ3 Series HMI comes equipped with two serial ports, a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port, a MicroSD Card reader, a USB Type A port for data logging and trending, and a USB Type B port for easy access programming. With its blazing speed, stunning 65,000 color Sunlight-Readable White LED Display, and a wide temperature range up to 60 C (140 F), it is designed for all industrial environments, indoors or outdoors.

The USB ports and MicroSD card reader offer virtually limitless memory as well as universal connectivity to the peripherals of your choice, such as printers, barcode scanners, and weigh scales. Machine downtime is no longer a factor with the EZ3 Series exclusive online editing feature where HMI screen and tag changes are done on the fly. Programming via serial or Ethernet connections and uploading of HMI projects has never been so simple. Projects can be loaded through a compact flash card, USB drive, or by a patented OEM packager feature via an executable file, with no software required.

In addition to the traditional serial and Ethernet PLC drivers, EZAutomation's EZ3 Series HMIs also support higher level industrial network protocols, such as Allen Bradley's DataHighway Plus (DH+), Remote IO, DeviceNet, Profibus, ProfiNet, and Modbus Plus.

Finally, with the EZ3 Series new data signature feature, a summary snap-shot of all machine alarms, machine productivity and diagnostics can be monitored in real time from anywhere in the world right on your smartphone or tablet.
