Fluke 365 Detachable Jaw True-rms AC/DC Clamp MeterIn 2008, the Fluke Corporation was the first to introduce a high-accuracy milli-amp clamp meter with a detachable clamp head. With further engineering, Fluke has applied the same patented breakthroughs to the new 365 Clamp Meter for measurement up to 200 amps ac/dc and 600 V ac/dc. The new Fluke 365 Clamp Meter has a thin, small jaw design that makes it easy to get around tightly packed wires, and the current clamp jaw is detachable, adding even more flexibility.

The detachable clamp capability is especially valuable for technicians working in the tight confines of programmable logic control (PLC) panels. In normal situations the jaw is attached to the meter body, but when required it can be removed and clamped to the wire under test. The meter body remains connected to the jaw through a flexible 3 foot lead. The Fluke 365 also provides 6,000-Ohm resistance measurement and continuity detection, standard for cabinet troubleshooting but not necessarily standard to a clamp meter. And, state of the art signal processing ensures accurate, stable readings in the noisy electrical environment of a control cabinet.

Some of the smaller features make a big difference, too. The large, back lit display automatically sets the correct measurement range, so the user doesn't need to change switch positions while taking a measurement. And a built-in flashlight helps illuminate the work location and identify wires.  

The compact Fluke 365 fits in the hand and is designed to be easily used by technicians wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).  The meter is safety rated for use in IEC/EN 61010-1:2001, CAT III 600 V environments.
