Hirschmann RSP Switches offer redundancy features to enable zero switchover time for high availability. This is a Control Engineering 2013 Engineers' Choice finalist. The RSP Switches from Hirschmann are the first to allow uninterrupted data communication to ensure continuous access to machines and systems. The zero switchover time enables greater productivity and profitability. The switches feature comprehensive security functions to provide seamless protection against network attacks. Since they also support precise synchronization, they can be used to safely network even applications that are subject to stringent real-time requirements. For example, if a switch ever becomes overloaded due to data or power flux, there is a redundancy system already in place. This unique product covers data at both ends -- the data can come in uninterrupted, and it is also protected within the network.
