EC: IndraDrive Cs Advanced
Motion Control - Servo drives: The IndraDrive Cs Advanced with Sercos III master is a compact low-power servo drive with high functionality, able to control up to nine slave drives in an extremely space-saving design, and features open support of multiple Ethernet-based communication buses. This is a Control Engineering 2013 Engineers' Choice finalist.
The IndraDrive Cs Advanced units meet the highest demands in performance and drive dynamics. It offers new communications hardware with multi-protocol support to address today's increased need for open, seamless design. The drives support Sercos III, Profinet IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCat. Connectivity via these Ethernet-based interfaces is provided by software-configurable communications hardware. Alternatively IndraDrive Cs can also be supplied with a conventional communications interface, for example Profibus. The Rexroth solution gives users maximum communications flexibility with minimum engineering effort. This high-performance servo drive can also be equipped with Rexroth’s Safety On Board drive-integrated safety technology, which is certified as conforming to EN 13849-1 and EN 62061.
The IndraDrive Cs Advanced is the ideal platform for the drive-integrated PLC, IndraMotion MLD. The IndraDrive Cs Advanced supports a new multi-encoder interface which supports all standard encoder types, plus an additional option slot, to make the IndraDrive Cs Advanced the ideal choice for highly specialized drive applications. IEC compliant motion logic and industry-specific technology function support a very wide range of applications. In addition to compact design and highly impressive performance specifications, the IndraDrive Cs Advanced offers a comprehensive portfolio of Ethernet-based communications interfaces. The new communications interface supports a whole range of protocols. The IndraDrive Cs Advanced will run with a broad spectrum of Ethernet-based communications protocols without any hardware modifications. IndraDrive Cs Advanced is compatible with the most common encoder types. This is a standard feature of the drives, and it means that you have complete freedom to choose the best motor/encoder system for your application.
