InduSoft Web Studio is a platform agnostic SCADA/HMI development and runtime software that incorporates all the features users need to create SCADA, HMI, business intelligence dashboards, OEE interfaces, and IIoT applications. With runtimes available for Windows, Linux, and VxWorks, InduSoft Web Studio can create powerful industrial automation applications that can be accessed remotely on wearables, mobile devices, small-footprint embedded machines, HMI systems, SCADA control room servers, and the cloud.

InduSoft expands on the vision of developing an application once and deploying it to multiple operating systems, including IoT devices. InduSoft Web Studio 8.0 SP1 evolves already robust HTML5 capabilities to include horizontal trends, and custom widgets that allow users to host third party applications within the InduSoft Web Studio environment without limiting applications to a Microsoft platform by relying on Active/X and .NET controls.

Last year, InduSoft introduced IoTView, a platform agnostic runtime environment for InduSoft Web Studio. InduSoft Web Studio 8.0 SP1 improves the current IoT solution to include math scripts and enhancements to database connectivity to execute transactions. These capabilities allow IoTView to collect data at an aggregation point close to the sensors and transmit the only the data points that require attention, all in real time. The enhancements to InduSoft Web Studio make it the perfect solution for IIoT, Industrie 4.0, and Made in China 2025.
