EC: iQagent

Software - Mobile apps for controls, automation, instrumentation: iQagent allows iPad and iPhone users to scan any machinery, equipment or process and view relevant live process data, chart, graphs and documentation, and enter preventive maintenance or trouble reporting actions on the target system. iQagent is the first true Mobile App for Manufacturing and Industrial environments. It connects directly to your process through existing OPC and ODBC/OLEDB data sources, Documentation Servers, and Preventative Maintenance / Trouble Reporting systems. Use iQagent to create a data rich environment where your iPad or iPhone is used to view live process data, technical documents, and enter PM activities for any machine or process by scanning a QR Code on the equipment, or browsing for desired data on-screen anywhere you are connected to the plant network.

Engineers can view live process data right at the equipment they are working on, without having to call the HMI operator to read off current values; they can retrieve the most current technical manual or troubleshooting guide, look up part numbers or enter a trouble report, all without leaving the work area. Maintenance professionals can keep an eye on their process while at their desk or efficiently respond to plant issues while at home via their secure VPN.

Management Executives use their phone or tablet to view the latest KPIs on the plant floor, in a production meeting, or during a casual hallway conversation.  Now imagine your plant is experiencing unplanned downtime and a critical technical resource is offsite. Instead of trying to explain the problem via phone or email, or worse, waiting for help to arrive, Production personnel can use our patent-pending Holistic Recording feature to remotely show them the problem. iQagent records everything on the device display, including live video and audio of the problem, overlaid with live process data and resources. While recording, operators can verbally comment on the issue and annotate directly on the display. When recording is finished, the resulting MP4 video captures the essence of the problem so offsite resources can analyze and resolve the issue immediately.
