The Ircon next generation Modline 7 noncontact temperature measurement system with Modview Pro software meets a wide range of industrial applications and includes a best in class extended five year warranty. This is a Control Engineering 2013 Engineers' Choice finalist.The Ircon next generation Modline 7 infrared noncontact temperature measurement system, with Modview Pro software and extended five year warranty, meets a wide range of applications, including semiconductor manufacturing, metals processing, furnace refractory, primary and secondary glass, as well as plastics thermoforming. Designed for rugged industrial environments, the Modline 7 sensors include eight series to choose from, based on the users industry. All sensor components are sealed within an IP65 (NEMA 4) enclosure featuring standard motorized focus control, as well as through-the-lens and laser sighting. Also included is an integral stainless steel, water cooled enclosure.

The sensor head can operate as a standalone sensor, providing simultaneous analog and digital outputs of process temperatures. Sensor setup and monitoring can be done using Modview Pro software, allowing the user to perform PC-based temperature monitoring, trending and archiving with an intuitive graphical user interface. In addition, the new Proc-7 processor box allows full sensor operation through a push button panel and is part of a full line of accessories offered for the Modline 7 series IR thermometers. With extended temperature ranges, high resolution optics and fast response times, the Modline 7 series can improve product quality, increase yield, extend equipment life and reduce energy and waste in industrial manufacturing processes.
